Hamid Ansari and Don Mukhtar Ansari Relation

Hamid Ansari, the former Vice President of India, has made startling claims that Indian Muslims are feeling insecure in the current environment. His clear target was Narendra Modi government. This was a very irresponsible statement by a person who was holding an important Constitutional position. It is irresponsible because there isn’t any sign of insecurity creeping in Indian Muslims. There may be some sporadic incidents like that of Akhlaq. But, incidents have also happened on the other side, for example a juvenile was illegally jailed in West Bengal for just sharing a simple Facebook Post. That juvenile is a Hindu.



Coming back to Hamid Ansari Saheb, one wonders about his feeling of insecurity.

He is a close relative of one of the dreaded gangsters of Uttar Pradesh, Mr. Mukhtar Ansari.

Is Hamid Ansari Ralated to Mukhtar Ansari?

The answer is simple and straight – YES. There is little bit confusion here as the name of Hamid Ansari grandfather is also Mukhtar Ahmed Ansari, who was once the President of  Congress Party and a close associate of Mahatma Gandhi.

The Don Mukhtar Ansari is also grandson of Late M. A. Ansari. Obviously, Hamid and Mukhtar are cousin. 



But, we are talking about the don of Poorvanchal. Late Mukhtar Ansari and his three brothers were once undisputed mafia of the Eastern UP. They were known for ruthlessly killing anyone who had come on their ways. The only exception is don Brajesh Singh. Mukhtar had brutally killed Krishnanad Rai, a powerful BJP leader. Mukhtar Ansari has breathed his last on 28th March, 2024 while undergoing treatment for cardio related problems. It may be noted that he had alleged that Yogi Government was slow poisoning him. 

Mukhtar Ahmed Ansari, the former Congress President, was the grandfather of both Hamid Ansari and Mukhtar Ansari. They are actually cousin – their fathers were brothers.

Hamid Ansari while calling out insecurity about Muslims forgot that millions of Hindus were feeling insecure because of his cousin Mukhtar Ansari. He forgot that Ansari family – his own family – is the main reason behind this shitty insecurity thing.
