Rubika Liyaquat is one of the best examples of beauty with brain in India. She is widely regarded as an honest and incredibly balanced journalist. She is one of the reasons why Zee News remained among top three Hindi News channels of India. Her probing questions and blunt suggestions to politicians have earned wide appreciation. She is a nationalist which sometimes is referred to as pro BJP.

After working with Zee News for long, Rubika has recently switched to ABP News. She has been given the responsibility to host Master Stroke. This is quite a controversial program because of Punya Prasoon Vajpayee and his series of factually incorrect stories against Narendra Modi. Mr. Vajpayee has been asked to resign and Rubika was roped in. It will be interesting to see how Rubika manage this program.

Rubika is actually from Udaipur. She did her education from Udaipur and then Jaipur. She started her journalism career as an anchor with Channel 24 in Jaipur in 2003. However, she left the job and came to Delhi to hone her skills and search for better career options. Three years later, she got a job at Live India News Channel and since then there is no looking back. She joined News 24 in 2008 and was the face of this channel. She is currently working with Zee News.

Rubika is believed to have been in relationship with only one guy. They later got married.

As mentioned above, Rubika dated a news anchor while working with BAG, NEWS 24. The name of the guy is Naved Qureshi. And, they got married in 2012.

Rubika came closer to Naved because of some similarities. Both of them are from Udaipur and are Bohra Muslims. Both were working on the same floor at News 24. Both were of same age and similar tastes and distastes.

Naved Qureshi is currently working with Delhi Aaj Tak. The couple are staying in Delhi.
