Sikta Deo is quite famous in the Indian television news watchers. She is currently working with NDTV India as a senior anchor and Senior Editor.


Sikta had started her journalism career in 1995 with Aaj Tak. At that time, Aaj Tak used to produce two hours show for Doordarshan, and Sikta was quite famous along with Dibang. She remained with Aaj Tak until Pranoy Launched poached her for his new venture NDTV. Actually, at that time, Pranoy Roy had poached almost all star anchors of Aaj Tak, including Sikta Deo and Dibang.


Since then Sikta is working with NDTV.
