Hamza Shahbaz Sharif is one of the most powerful politicians of Pakistan. Being the next generation leader of the Sharif family makes him apart. But, he is also a very successful businessman known for his shrewd techniques to kill competition. He is also termed as the ‘Paultry King’ of Pakistan, for being the monopolistic control of Paultry distribution in the country.

Hamza is also a rising politician. In fact, Dawn once termed him as the unofficial ‘Deputy Prime Minister of Pakistan’ and ‘Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab’. He commands more supports than any of Nawaz Sharif children among PML – N followers.



Wiki and Biography of Hamza Shahbaz Sharif

Hamza was born on 6th September, 1974. He is the son of Shahbaz Sharif and the nephew of the former PM Nawaz Sharif. He has one sister – Rabia – and one brother – Salman.

Hamza did his schooling from Lahore. He started to show keen interest in the business affairs of the family since his school days. He was eyeing to become a businessman, and not a politician.

Hamza got the opportunity to show his business acumen in 1999. His uncle and father were exiled by Parvez Musharraf. Somehow, he was allowed to be in the country, but on the condition of not getting involved in the politics. Hamza started to look after all business interests of the family. In a very short span of time, he impressed everyone. It is Hamza who ensured that the financial clout of the Sharif family doesn’t go down even if elders are not staying in the country.

Once Sharif family came to power, Hamza also started to be involved in politics. His father asked him to become an MNA.

Wives of Hamza Shahbaz

There is a paradox in the Sharif family. If you look at Nawaz Sharif, you will find not only him, but all of his children being devout follower of monogamy. His brother Shahbaz is starkly different. Legally, Shahbaz has three wives, but people say that he has more.


Hamza seems to also follow the footprints of his father. No one can say exactly how many times he got married. Ayesha Ahad claimed that she is his second wife. Hamza or any of Sharif family never accepted claims of Ayesha Ahad. In 2011, Hamza got married with Dr. Rabia. Even Election Commission has no idea about the number of wives he has.
