Akshita is the daughter of Tamil superstar Chiyaan Vikram. She is the wife of  Manu Ranjith. Unlike her father, she has interests in business rather than acting. 



Manu is the great grandson of late K. Karunanidhi. DMK is expecting to get the support of Vikram’s fan through this matrimonial alliance. Vikram has not yet openly supported or opposed any political party in Tamil Nadu.

  • Manu Ranjith belongs to an influential business family of South India. His father is an FMCG honcho and is the founder and CMD of Cavin Kare. His uncle Late C. K. Rajkumar had pioneered the sachet concept in India. He had launched a shampoo brand named Velvette in sachet even before Unilever India or other leaders could think about it.
