Boyfriend of Aarushi Talwar


The Allahabad High Court on 12th October, 2017 has pronounced judgment in the Aarushi murder case exonerating her parents - Rajesh and Nupur Talwar. That is a big relief for the ill fortunate parents who had already lost their only child. 

 Previously, the CBI Court had pronounced its judgment in the famous Aarushi double murder case. The Court had convicted the parents of Aarushi – Nupur and Rajesh Talwar for the double murder. According to the theory, Aarushi was in an illicit relationship with Hemraj. On the fateful day, Rajesh Talwar found Hemraj and Aarushi in a compromising position. Anger got better of his senses and he ruthlessly killed them, then with his wife destroyed the evidences. Obviously, friends of Aarushi are not able to digest this fact. How can she be in an illicit relationship with her servant Hemraj who was older than his father? More importantly, she had a boyfriend with whom she used to talk daily. Her parents were quite liberal and they didn’t possess any problem with Aarushi befriending boys. Being just 14, Aarushi should not be so much desperate for physical relationship. And, even if she was desperate, she had many better options.

Aarushi was a class XI student of Delhi Public School. It is said that she was quite close with three boys. According to a statement by the police, her father had objected about these relationships. But, the theory fell apart when it came to the public knowledge that her father has just not happy with her going to watch movie with some of friends (all girls) without any adult accompanying them.

Though, there is no denying that Aarushi was in relationship with a guy who was also studying with her. Anmol Agarwal was her boyfriend. According to the call details of Aarushi mobile phone, the couple had talked over the mobile phone for more than 600 times in the two months proceeding to the tragic end of Aarushi. In fact, according to the family and her Orkut Scraps, Aarushi was in the midst of breaking this relationship. Anmol Agarwal had proposed her just one month back. She had accepted the proposal and they were enjoying the life together. However, something was missing, and the relationship was going to be end.





The first boyfriend of Aarushi was Sankalp. This relationship broke because Aarushi started to talk incessantly with Anmol Agarwal. Sankalp or Sanky was also a student of Delhi Public School. Sankalp had also called Aarushi one day before the murder at 4:15 PM. He didn’t say the police clearly about the motive of this call.


Aarushi was definitely involved in a love triangle. Sankalp and Anmol Agarwal was fighgting for her. Was her end a result of this love triangle? It should be noted here that Sankalp name also came into light in the Shobhit murder case of 2011 where love triangle was also suspected.
