Prateek Yadav: Profile, Wife and Business



Prateek Yadav is the second son of Mulayam Singh Yadav, the most powerful politician of India’s largest state – Uttar Pradesh. Prateek’s mother, Sadhana Gupta Yadav, is the second wife of Mulayam Singh Yadav.


There was a clamour during the last Lok Sabha election among Samajwadi Party workers to let Prateek Yadav fight the election from Azamgarh. However, the Yadav family was not unanimous and when cracks started to develop within family members, Mulayam decided to fight from two seats to save the unity.

It is said that Prateek Yadav isn’t interested in politics. Like Akhilesh Yadav, he is highly educated and fluent in English. He has done MBA from Leeds University, London. Further, like Akhilesh, he has married a thakur girl Aparna Yadav. However, similarity ends here. At this juncture, the main focus of Prateek is to hold on huge landmass that Mulayam had accumulated over years on the name of Sadhana Gupta in Lucknow. In fact, many cases are still going on about these properties.

Hence, the current focus of Prateek Yadav is to develop these properties. As a matter of fact, the price of his properties has skyrocketed in recent times and he doesn’t want to let them go. He is developing apartments and commercial complexes over these properties. He is targeting to become a powerful real estate businessman of Uttar Pradesh. His mother Sadhana Gupta is openly supporting him in this endeavor.

He was transformed from a teenage with more than 100 kg of weight to a 27 year old guy with perfect body shape. His father asked him to do wrestling and later he set a gym at his home. Prateek is in deep love with Aparna with whom he had a love-cum-arrange marriage. Aparna is highly educated and sensitive lady. She is also taking keen interest in the politics. It is said that Sadhana Gupta is pressurizing Mulayam Singh Yadav to let Aparn enter the political arena. Mulayam is averse of this idea. He was also not comfortable with Dimple entering the politics, but now the reality is before all of us. It is a matter of time when Aparna will take center stage.

You may be surprised to know that Prateek is quite kind at heart. He is known to have deep sympathy for stray animals. Many people have seen him taking stray animals in need to hospital. He also keeps biscuits in his car so that he can feed animals on the road. He is also actively involved with many NGOs. It is said that Aparna was attracted to Prateek because of his kind hearted nature.
