Mimansa Malik, Zee: Profile, Husband and Family

Mimansa Malik is one of the most popular and respected news anchors of India. In these times, you will hardly find any one on social media blaming her for being biased. It should be remembered that Zee News is continuously being said to be working for the BJP since last two years, but its high profile Mimansa Malik remained staunchly impartial in her reporting and handling of political debates.

Mimansa Malik is working with Zee News since 1998. That’s 18 long years and many more to come with a news channel.

Profile of Mimansa Malik

Mimansa Malik was born in Sonepat, Haryana. She is from a Jat family. Her parents are – Kamlesh Malik and R S Malik. Fortunately, her parents were quite forward looking. Unlike majority of Haryanvi people, they have deep love for daughters and always wanted to have only daughters. They have only two daughters – Mimansa Malik and Meghna Malik – an actress. Her mother Kamlesh is a famous short story writer of Haryana. Her father Randhir Singh Malik was a professor of English Literature.

Mimansa did her schooling from Holy Child School, Sonepat. After completing her schooling, she took admission in Guru Jambheshwar University in Hisar from where she has done all higher education. She went to Delhi and her first job was with the Zee Media. The rest is history as we all know. She has remained with this group and worked splendidly well.

While working as a reporter with Zee News, Mimansa came into contact with Deepak Trehan. He was a handsome and smart guy. They became friend and soon started to see each other. The parents of both Mimansa and Deepak were aware of this relationship and they decided to give a green signal.

Mimansa married Deepak Trehan on October, 17, 1999. That was a love-cum-arrange marriage. The couple is happily living in New Delhi.
