look at the illustrious career of Manjil Saini Dehal. She is inspiring from the
very first day when she took admission in St. Stephen’s College, Delhi for her
graduation. The way she had cracked the infamous kidney racket scam is worth
applauding.

Profile of Manjil Saini
Manzil was born
on 9th September, 1975 in New Delhi. She has always been a brilliant
student. She was also known for her keen interests in extra curriculum
activities like dancing and sports.
After completing
her schooling, Manzil Saini took admission in St. Stephen’s College, Delhi and
did Physics Honors from there. Later, she changed the track and joined Delhi
School of Economics – DSE. She is a Gold Medalist from DSE. After that, she
joined the corporate world and worked there in a private firm for 3 years. She
again decided to change the track and appeared for UPSC Civil Services
Examination and cracked it in her very first attempt in 2005.
Saini’s first
posting was in Moradabad as an ASP. She started to impress citizens and her
senior police officers from very first day. Two years later, she became an
international sensation for unearthing the most inhuman kidney scam of India.
Actually, she
got a simple complaint by a laborer about his kidney getting ‘stolen’ two years
back. She talked with the laborer and got all information, including the
hospital where he has been admitted. She worked on the trail and took
confidence of only few officers. In one night she raided in Meerut and Noida
and she was also surprised when the skeleton of Kidney scam tumbled out of the
cupboard with the arrest of Upendra and then the kingpin Amit Kumar. Manjil has
saved hundreds of lives with this daring act.
Since then, she
has been termed as the super cop of UP Police. Wherever she went there were
marked difference in the situation of law and order. She was also posted in
Muzaffarnagar when the infamous riot took place. The SP Government led by
Akhilesh Yadav abruptly transferred her. It is widely believed that her
transfer was the main reason being escalation of riot.

Manzil Saini is
married to Jaspal Dehal. They married in 2000, five years before Manzil became
an IPS Officer.
This was a love
marriage. Both Manzil and Jaspal studied together at Delhi School of Economics.
The couple has
one daughter and one son.
